Martha A. Noble, 68, of Corydon, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.  She was born July 23, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Charles K. and Annie P. Hooper Yates.  She was retired manager at Big Lots in New Albany and was a member of Lincoln Hill Christian Church in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Charles Everett “Chuck” Yates.

Survivors include her brothers, Robert Yates (Joann) and Charles William Yates (Barbara) both of Corydon; her sister, Linda Spencer (Dennis) of Corydon; and her daughters-in-law, Cheryl E. Parr (Robert J.) and Teresa Yates both of Mauckport.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the ASPCA, the Wounded Warrior Project, or Lincoln Hills Christian Church Missions.

Pallbearers will be David and Dennis Spencer, Cy Sherrill, Jesse Yates, Eddie Windell, and Eric Keith.
