Margaret Faye Kerr Smith, 90, of Corydon, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at her home in Corydon.  She was born September 7, 1925, in Arcadia, Indiana, to the late John and Gladys Faye Cline Kerr.  She was a retired elementary and junior high school teacher, was a former director of the Children’s Free Art Class Program at the Louisville Visual Art Association, was a volunteer at the Louisville Public Library, and was a member of the Scribes and Cybes Book Club in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Keith W. Smith.

Survivors include her daughters, Jill Kerr Smith of San Jose, California, Wendi K. Smith (Pat Thompson) of Corydon, and Robin Lynn Smith (John Schwab) of Bainbridge Island, Washington; her grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel and John Neumeister, David Javier Thompson, and Peter and Rachel Schwab; and her great granddaughter, Margaret Mary Neumeister.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon will be in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Louisville Public Library.
