John E. Shaw, 76, of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his home near Milltown.  He was born June 8, 1941 in Macon, Georgia.  He was a retired electrician, was a member of the American Legion and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Shaw.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Oakes Shaw; his son, Kevin Wiseheart (Tracy) of Ramsey, Indiana; his daughters, Beth Faulkenburg (Doug) of Georgetown, Indiana, Karen Pearson (Doug) of Marengo, Indiana and Susan Shaw of Leavenworth; his grandchildren, Brennan, Austin and Cameron Faulkenburg, Kayla Craig (Zach), Cody Wiseheart, Aaron Pearson, Alicia Cash, and Katelynne and Sara McMonigle; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Eli, Braedon, Raylan, Arabella and Colton.

There will be a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Bruce Hawkins will officiate.  Burial will be in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown.

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
