Geraldine “Gerri” Fisher, 75, of Corydon, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at her home in Corydon. She was born February 16, 1941, in Manchester, Kentucky, to the late Homan and Rinda Sizemore Asher. She was a retired school bus driver at the South Harrison Community School Corporation and was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.
Survivors include her husband, Harlan Ray Fisher; her sons, John F. Stickler (Edy) of Corydon and Jeffrey S. Stickler (Kristi) of Depauw, Indiana; her daughters, Kelly J. Conrad (Greg) of Sellersburg, Indiana and Kimberly D. Taylor (Gordon) of Depauw; her brothers, Brack Asher (Alice) of Lowell, Indiana, Troy Asher of Hammond, Indiana, Ralph Asher of Homosassa, Florida, Arnold Asher (Martha) of Valparaiso, Indiana and Wayne Asher (Eva) of London, Kentucky; her sisters, Glenda Smith (Tinsley) of Manchester and Denise Owens (Robert) of Lexington, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Lincoln Hills Christian Church Benevolent Fund.
Pallbearers will be John, Jeffrey, Bradley and Kyle Stickler, Gordon Taylor and Greg Conrad.
