Elvina Mae Simcoe, 87, of Corydon, died Friday, February 10, 2017, at Baptist Health –Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born April 17, 1929, in New Albany, to the late Theodore and Eldora Riley Mayfield.  She was formerly employed at Hudson Foods in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. “Andy” Simcoe; her great grandson, Jeffery Lillpop; her brothers, Ernest Theodore, Dallas William, Raymond Henry, Oscar, Harold Edward, Donald Mark and Paul James; and her sisters, Sarah Mae, Emma Eileen, Thelma, and Clara Lee.

Survivors include her sons, James E. Simcoe, Dennis A. Simcoe (Nancy), and Larry E. Simcoe (Cathy) all of Corydon; her daughters, Janet S. Pease (Jim) and Thelma Ann Clark both of Corydon; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Paul Greer will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Simcoe, II, Jess Long, Jr., Jeremy Simcoe, Zachary Pease, Jamie Lillpop and Jimmy Pease.
