Donna Marie Duke, 71, of Corydon, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at her home in Corydon.  She was born June 23, 1944, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Richard and Belva McCullum Briles.  She was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Holiness Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gaylord Delbert Duke; her son, Dennis Duke; her grandson, Sam Hughes; and her brothers, Jesse and Harry Briles.

Survivors include her sons, Vincent Duke (Nanetta) of English, Indiana, David Duke of Corydon, Daniel Duke (Sherry) of Pekin, Indiana, and Delbert Junior Duke of Corydon; her daughters, Teresa Hughes of Corydon and Donnetta Oates (Shane) of Corydon; her sister, Hazel Smith (Lewis) of Texarkana, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Calvary Wesleyan Holiness Church.  Rev. Lewis Smith and Rev. David Dicken will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or the American Kidney Fund.

Pallbearers will be Glen, Elden and Joey Duke, Steven Smith, Skeeter Bardwell, Galen Oates and Frederick Misamore.
