Diana L. Heishman, 57, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. She was born January 15, 1961, in Corydon, to the late Clarence and Joyce Barnickle DeWeese. She was a supervisor for over 15 years at Liberty Medical Supply in Port St. Lucie, was a Christian Day School Teacher at Shiloh Holiness Christian School near Corydon and at Clearfork Christian Academy in New Albany, Indiana for over 10 years, was a member of Shiloh Pilgrim Holiness Church near Corydon and she attended The Crossing Community Church in Port St. Lucie. Diana was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother, who always put others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Amanda Lynn Heishman; her brother, Sonny Ray Hiser; and her grandparents, Vada and Andrew Barnickle.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Randall L. Heishman, her sons, Eric A. Heishman (Shari) and their children, Kelsey, Breck, Colton and Skylar, and Bradley P. Heishman and his children, Brooklyn Grace and Bryce; and her daughter, Kristina D. Bowen (David) and their children, Greyson, Zander and Kynslee Diane.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon. Rev. Michael P. Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery near Laconia.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Eric and Bradley Heishman, David Bowen, Jeremy Albin, Elmer Lambright and Brandon McQueen.
