David A. Jacobs, 82, of Corydon, died Saturday, October 15, 2016, at his residence. He was born December 9, 1933, in Mauckport, Indiana, to the late Carl and Ida Langdon Jacobs.

He was retired from Keller Mfg. Co. after 29 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God church in Corydon. He is preceded in death by his parents. David enjoyed watching IU basketball, working out in the yard and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Faye Goldman Jacobs, One daughter, Kay, Two sons, Kent & Kevin & eight grandchildren from a previous marriage. He also had 3 step children, Charles (Wanda), Betty (Paul), & Linda (Rick), three step grandchildren, Chas & his wife Janice, Zach & his wife Melissa, & Ashley as well as one great granddaughter, Vivienne, from his current marriage. Two sisters, Charlotte Clinton and Monie Byerley of Mauckport.

He will be dearly missed by many relatives & friends & those with special relationships that meant so much to him: Jonna Hoback & Tim Dunaway.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Paul Greer will officiate. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Central, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Central, Indiana.

Pallbearers will be Paul Ruby, Rick Hess, Tim Dunaway, Jonna Hoback, Zach Redden and Chas Snyder.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Central Cemetery Foundation.
