Clara Jean Love Bruce, 85, of Corydon, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  She was born July 11, 1931, in Mauckport, Indiana, to the late Roy Lee “Bill” and Zola Mae McBride Love.  She graduated from Mauckport High School in 1949, was retired from Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, and was a member of Mauckport United Methodist Church.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Elmer Bruce; her brother, Ralph Love; 1 step granddaughter; and 2 step great granddaughters.

Survivors include her step children, Joyce Bruce Philpot (Bob) of Lanesville, Ronnie Everett Bruce (Pat) of Corydon, and Virginia Sue Bruce Hamilton (Jim) of Corydon; 8 step grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Randy Kirk will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bruce, Jr., Rodney Bruce, Jason Bruce, Curtis Hamilton, Vincent Love and Matthew Bruce.
