Carol Ruth Masterson, 61, of New Salisbury, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born July 4, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Clifford V. and Shirley M. Fox Cook.  She was a retired LPN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sandy Masterson; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Francis A. “Frank” Masterson; her son, Frankie Masterson (Melissa) of New Salisbury; her daughter, Karen Williams (Josh) of Leavenworth; her sister, Donna Dillard of Bloomington, Indiana; and seven grandchildren, Kyle, Shirley and Savanna Day, Brooke & Drake Williams, Allie Denton and Samantha Masterson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.  Burial will be at Central Barren Cemetery near New Salisbury.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Pallbearers will be Frankie, Keith and Irvin Masterson, Josh Williams, Zach Dixon & Darrell Draughn.
