Carol Ann Lang, 76, of Corydon, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.  She was born July 10, 1939, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Carl R. Hartman and Margaret E. Wolfe Hartman Brown.  She was a retired supervisor at Tyson Foods in Corydon after 38 years of service and she attended Heidelberg United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard Hartman; her sister, Janice Jones and her granddaughter, Miranda Irene Schmidt.

Carol was a loving “Grammy” to all of her family and is survived by her husband, Jack Lang; her son, Pete Lang of Leavenworth, Indiana; her daughters, Wanda Mae Schmidt (Doug) of Corydon, Jacque McKim (Seth) of Jackson, Tennessee and Bootie Bruner (Bill) of Corydon; her sisters, Barbara Mueller of Lanesville, Patricia Cunningham of Frostproof, Florida, Carla Brunner of Corydon and Ruby Brooks of Corydon; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
