Brenda A. Bruner, 72, of Central, died Monday, January 8, 2018, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born December 25, 1945, in Louisville, to the late David and Rachel Gordon Williams.  She was a retired unit coordinator at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville and was a member of the catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, David Jr. and Rudy; and her sisters, Doris June and Mary Ella.

Survivors include her husband William R. “Bill” Bruner, Sr.; her son, Bill Bruner, Jr. (Bootie) of Corydon; her daughter, Sharon L. Hemingway (Trevor) of Louisville; her brothers, Johnny Williams (Susan) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Donnie Williams (Karen) of La Grange, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Gar (Alex), Josie and Sophie; and her great grandchildren, Canaan, Malakai and Jacklynn.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers will be Bill Bruner, Sr., Bill Bruner, Jr., Gar Bruner and Trevor Hemingway.
