Bonnie J. Saulman, 86, of Corydon, died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Harrison Springs Health Campus near Corydon. She was born September 20, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Leo and Mildred Hamilton Brangers. She was formerly employed at Saulman Brothers Tree Service, Corydon Auto, Kenneth H. Brown Implements, and Whiteleys Poultry Processing all in Corydon, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, and she loved to bowl and play BINGO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Anthony “Tony” Fuqua; her granddaughter, Teresa Flickner; and her brother, Edward “Gene” Brangers.
Survivors include her husband, James F. “Jim” Saulman; her daughters, Debbie L. Gresham (Dwight) of Corydon, Kimberly S. Stewart (Roger) of Corydon, and Jill Ann Delaney (Donald) of Clearwater, Florida; her sister, Barbara Neafus of Corydon; her grandchildren, Tina, Tammy, Traci, Jennifer, Jeremy, Joshua, Mandy, Misha, Matthew, Shane and Wendy; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
Her funeral mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown, Indiana. Father Robert Hankee will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.
There will be a rosary service at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Stewart, Jeremy Stewart, Matthew Delaney, Jeff Harmon, Marty Moore and Steve Spires. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Wilke, Chase Moore, Lane Flickner, Dylan Caldwell, Ethan Caldwell, Zavier Spires, Zander Spires and Shane Gresham.
