Barbara Jean Orange, 70, of Corydon, died Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born April 4, 1945, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Mart Brown and Jean Allen Brown Davis.  She was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, Airguard Industries in New Albany and M. Fine and Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Stephen and her sister, Ruthie.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. “Charlie” Orange; her son, Donald Wiseman (Alana) of Corydon; her daughter, Angela M. Stroud (Shawn) of Corydon; her grandchildren, Courtney and Olivia Wiseman and Wesley and Morgan Stroud; and her great grandchild, Jaydon Filkins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Father Robert St. Martin will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Brown, Ray, John and Cody Allen, Wesley Stroud, Wendell Smith, Edmond Nunemaker and Travis Sewell.
